It has been such a long time since I posted anything, holy shnikes! I’ve been super-duper busy, pretty much since right after the holidays, with wedding shtuff- but now that mostly everything is taken care of, I will have some time to work on some personal projects again. Gotta get my butt into gear and maybe start out with some Illustration Friday exercises or maybe throw together another illustrated recipe for They Draw and Cook.
If Santa lived in Brooklyn, this is what he’d look like- don’t ya think?
Merry christmas everyone!
Haven’t posted an Illustration Friday illo in a while, and I’m kind of cheating by putting up this guy… since I did this two Christmas’ ago… but it’s one of my favorites! I love the holidays!
I’m still working on this year’s e-card, and will probably be working on it till the very last minute- as usual. Will post when finished!
I.F.’s “Zoom.” — Run fast, lil guy! Run like the wind! –
Illustration Friday’s, “Shy.”
Don’t be silly, kitty! Get out from under those ruffles!
So I managed to escape to Florida a couple of days after hurricane Sandy hit- and while I was away, I found an email on my phone from Nate & Salli, from the They Draw and Cook site, informing me that they had featured my “Ghost in the Graveyard” on their jumbotron! What an extremely bittersweet moment for me. I was so happy that they had chosen my recipe for their “Boo!” collection, but I had no way of seeing it while it was posted and none of my friends and family could see it because of the widespread power outages in the tri-state area. Nate was nice enough to email me a screenshot of the homepage when it was up last week, so here it is!
I hope that all of my friends & fammy are all recovering from the storm and are all safe and warm. XoXoXo!!!
Woooop! Somebody flew too high! An Illustration Friday submission for “Sky.”A very last minute doodle.
